Staying Overnight at Lakamaga

River Valleys Council is HUGE.  You know this, we know this.  We know that it takes over three hours to drive from one edge of the council to the other.  Driving in for a conference that begins early in the morning is cumbersome for those of you farther away.  Coming in from Lakes & Pines or Badgerland Councils?  Heck, you may have even longer than three hours.  We LOVE your dedication!

Because we want to see all adult volunteers to attend (yes, even you the new troop leader out in Pipestone or the Service Unit team member from Albert Lea), we are offering the option to drive up on Friday night and stay at camp.

Last year was great – what a party down at the Yurts on Friday night!  This year let’s take it one step further – we now offer the option to also stay on Saturday night!  Same deal as Friday, just on Saturday.

For just $5 per person, you can reserve a bed in one of the units!  This includes access to the unit facilities for the night.  Unfortunately, the dining hall and other indoor cooking facilities will not be available.  You are more than welcome to cook over the fire though!

Beds are available in the following areas:
– Tamaray Unit cabins
– Lockbrae Unit cabins
– Yurts
– Mary Randall Program Center

Reserve your spot when you register for the conference.  Select “Friday Night Overnight Lodging” or “Saturday Night Overnight Lodging” in the Additional Items portion of the registration form.
